Manchester United have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti, as per L’Equipe (via PSGTalk).
Erik ten Hag is adamant about adding one more midfielder to his ranks after two substandard games from the Red Devils to kick off their campaign.
Verratti is an experienced and creative playmaker who has anchored the Parisians midfield over the past years but now looks to be mulling over a move away from the Parc des Princes.
He has agreed terms with Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli, so even if United do want to pursue a deal, he’ll likely opt for the big-money proposal on the table.
Bayern Munich are also interested in hijacking his move to Saudi Arabia, as PSG are yet to reach an agreement with Al-Ahli.
Verratti, 30, would undoubtedly strengthen United’s options in the centre of the park but would need to adjust to the pace of the English top flight.
