An unlikely scorer has poked Manchester United into the lead against Wolverhampton Wanderers this evening.
Raphael Varane has opened the scoring in the 76th minute at Old Trafford after a fairly substandard display from the Reds in their return to action.
Gary O’Neil’s side have been threatening on the counter-attack but have failed to capitalise on their chances, while United have been equally wasteful across the pitch.
They’ve found what they’re looking for now though, as they lead 1-0 in the closing stages of the clash thanks to the Frenchman’s header. Aaron Wan-Bissaka assisted the goal thanks to a superb chipped pass from Bruno Fernandes.
