Manchester United’s pre-season fixture schedule comes to an end this weekend with a double header against Lens and Athletic Club.
Lens finished second in Ligue 1 last season to book their place back in the Champions League, so Erik ten Hag will be hoping for a competitive game.
Here’s the side Ten Hag could deploy, with United also in action on Sunday when they travel to Dublin for the Bilbao game.
Manchester United predated line-up vs Lens (4-2-3-1)
Andre Onana will start between the sticks, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw in the full-back positions. Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane will be the centre back pairing.
The defence will receive protection from Casemiro and he will be joined in the middle by Mason Mount.
With Bruno Fernandes pushed further forward, United’s attacking trio may consist of Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
