Manchester United accept Premier League loan offer for Hannibal Mejbri

Hannibal Mejbri could join another Premier League club on loan this summer.

The report in question – courtesy of FootballTransfers.com – states Manchester United have accepted a loan offer from Luton Town for academy graduate Hannibal Mejbri.

The Tunisia international, 20, spent last season on loan at Championship side Birmingham. He gained experience as a first-team regular, making 38 appearances in a competitive decision.

I, for one, have been impressed by Mejbri on pre-season tour and wouldn’t be against keeping him in the squad as an option.

Obviously not if Erik ten Hag can’t give him assurances over game time.

In that case, it would make perfect sense to let Mejbri go out on loan again. He has made just three appearances for United’s first-team since joining from AS Monaco in 2019.

I would still consider him as one of the club’s brightest prospects.

A year in the Premier League could benefit Mejbri because he will be playing at a higher standard than last season. I have no doubt in my mind that he is ready for that.
