Manchester United Supporters’ Trust issue manifesto

Manchester United Supporters’ Trust has launched their manifesto which properly sets out who they are and what they do.

At Stretty News we’ve always believed in the importance of having a strong representation with the club as fans.

On top of that, I have personally found extremely MUST helpful down the years, during a period they have evolved as a fan group.

From their origins in 1998 as a fan shareholder pressure group (SUAM – Shareholders United Against Murdoch) and protest movement to becoming the largest Supporters Trust in the UK.

MUST’s new manifesto can be downloaded here.

However, when it comes to representing fans’ voices to the club, MUST ensure we are heard at the top levels of the club – directly to the senior management.

Duncan Drasdo and co are working to build a future for United where the views, needs, priorities and interests of all supporters are central to the running of the club.

MUST know football fans aren’t always treated well by the authorities, and they have helped hundreds of Reds protect their rights.

They’ve campaigned to stop the European Super League to reclaiming the Stretford End and the introduction of safe standing in J Stand.

Furthermore, MUST is open for new people to get involved. They are a volunteer organisation that depends on the collective efforts of their volunteers.

  1. How come MUST is silent at the time they are needed the most. They are silent when the Greedy Glazzers who put nothing in rhe club are stalling a sale process where a potential new Owner could clear all debt, renovate Old Trafford and get us back competing. They are silent at a pivot in history where the Glazzers MAY REMAIN due to theit negligence to further LEECH this CLUB DRY. WHYYYYYYYYYYY

    1. I’ve had plenty of communication with MUST down the years. When was this period of silence you speak of?
