Manchester United legend Norman Whiteside has hit out at presenter Richard Keys after an ill-informed criticism of Erik ten Hag.
Firstly, anyone with strong criticism of Ten Hag after his first season in charge needs their heads examined.
The critics quickly lined up up to knock him, but they were silenced when United lifted the Carabao Cup and finished third in the Premier League. It was a sign of clear progress.

Pre-season is not about winning football matches and Keys should know that as he’s been involved in football for so long.
Maybe he should work on strengthening that relationship with his daughter. It sounds too strained to be sat there worrying about the manager of Manchester United.
Nobody takes Keys seriously. It will be like water off a duck’s back for Ten Hag.

Keys has no relevance any more as he is on a channel equivalent to Dave. He is bitter and the only air play he gets is when he makes these type of statements.
