Manchester United’s pre-season is truly up and running and after comfortably dismissing Leeds United in the opening friendly earlier this week, Erik ten Hag has welcomed several of his first-team regulars back to training.
Ten Hag has the luxury of using most of his squad for the entirety of this summer’s pre-season and the value of that cannot be understated as he continues to revolutionise the club.
Ten Hag used a blend of first-team seniors and academy hopefuls to beat Leeds in Oslo and it is likely that the same players will be used against Olympique Lyon next week.
United leave for their pre-season tour of the United States on Wednesday and ahead of the trip, it was all smiles at Carrington as Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were among the stars back at the training ground, as seen below.

By the time United make the trip across the pond, Ten Hag will be hoping to have brought in Andre Onana as the club closes in on the second arrival of the summer.
Onana is set to become David de Gea’s replacement following the Spaniard’s departure after 12 years at the club.
