Rasmus Hojlund is keen to join Manchester United this summer.

According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the 20-year-old is “pushing” to complete a switch to Old Trafford.

However, any deal for Hojlund is currently being held up due to United’s pursuit of Andre Onana, who looks set to be Erik ten Hag’s second signing of the summer with both clubs hoping to reach an agreement by the end of next week.

United prioritising Onana transfer

After finalising Onana’s arrival, the Red Devils will then turn their attention to Hojlund. The Denmark international has caught the attention of Erik ten Hag and could be leading the line in Red next season as the manager looks to build on a promising first term in M16.

Across the 2022/2023 campaign, Hojlund netted nine Serie A goals in 32 appearances, though he did start the season utilised mostly as an off-the-bench option.

United’s pre-season fixtures kick off on July 12 with a clash against rivals Leeds United in Oslo, Norway.
