Manchester United among four Premier League clubs tracking £50m Bundesliga forward

Manchester United are reportedly among four Premier League clubs interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, which confirms the Red Devils, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Newcastle United are all tracking the forward this summer.

The Bundesliga club have attached a £50 million price tag on Diaby, who is expected to depart Germany before the transfer window slams shut.

Premier League clubs already splashing the cash

L’Equipe previously reported that the Gunners were likely to land the Frenchman’s signature, as they look to bolster their squad ahead of their long-awaited return to the Champions League, but they’ve splashed the cash significantly over the past month – Kai Havertz has already joined Mikel Arteta and his new teammates in North London, while Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber have undergone medicals over the weekend ahead of their big-money moves.

Similarly, Erik ten Hag has just ended Mason Mount’s 18-year association with Chelsea in his £55m move to Old Trafford, and the Dutch boss is hoping to finalise the arrival of Andre Onana by the end of next week.
