Reporter claims Rasmus Hojlund has agreed personal terms with Manchester United

Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund.

That is according to journalist Jacque Talbot, who believes the young Danish international is on the verge of becoming a Manchester United player.

Writing for FootballTransfers.com, Talbot claims Hojlund has struck a deal ahead of a move to Old Trafford.

United still need to reach an agreement with Atalanta and negotiations could drag on for some time, with the Serie A outfit interested in signing Mason Greenwood on loan.

In his breakthrough season at Atalanta, he scored 9 goals and registered a further 4 assists, so United are looking at a goalscoring prospect rather than someone who will guarantee goals instantly.

That is likely down to the market for centre-forwards. They’re overpriced, a lot of them, and it’s going to be risk unless United can sign Harry Kane.

Erik ten Hag will still be eager to bring in a new forward to lead his line next season, and some reports today suggest he may even want two new additions in the attacking department.

It appears that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy’s hardline stance on Kane means United have no other choice but to look elsewhere.
