Bayern Munich prepare second bid for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich are preparing a second offer for Harry Kane.

An initial bid was immediately knocked back by Tottenham and Sky Germany believe the Bundesliga champions are set to go back in for England’s all-time record goalscorer.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Kane this summer after it emerged that he is Erik ten Hag’s primary target as the Reds search for an elite centre-forward.

However, it remains to be seen if Ten Hag will have the funds available to land his preferred targets.

On a more positive note it looks like United’s first transfer of the summer will be sealed in the next 24 hours after Mason Mount completed his medical examinations at Carrington training facility.

Reports yesterday suggested Bayern are set to step up their pursuit of the 29-year-old, with club chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge now said to be in direct contact with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

That means little because we all know Levy is a difficult negotiate, although I am sure he would prefer to see Kane join a foreign club over United.

The second will be worth around £80 million – a fee they wouldn’t sell to United for…

Kane wants that all-time Premier League goalscorer record and he won’t achieve that feat in the Bundesliga.
