Luke Shaw has ignited even more transfer speculation among the Manchester United fanbase with his social media antics this weekend.
Shaw is currently on international duty with England as well as fellow Reds Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford.
Both defenders were selected by Gareth Southgate to start in the Three Lions’ EURO qualifier on Friday against Malta, with Rashford later coming off the bench to see out the dominant 4-0 victory.
Now, the national team are back on home turf and preparing for Monday’s fixture against North Macedonia, which will take place at Old Trafford, so the players are using United’s Carrington training base.
Of course, the best people to show their fellow Englishmen around the spot are Erik ten Hag’s men. It also gives them a chance to showcase the base in M16 to any potential new arrivals.
Shaw ignites transfer rumours
Shaw did exactly that, as he posed for a picture with United-linked pair Harry Kane and Declan Rice, and posted it to his Instagram story captioned: “Carrington tour” with a side-eye emoji.
Whether deals get over the line for the sought-after duo or not, fans will certainly appreciate the left-back’s attempts at doing an agent’s work!
