Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri had an emphatic game for his national team on Thursday.
The 21-year-old has become a regular in the Uruguay setup and was named in the starting line-up when the side took on Nicaragua this week at the Estadio Centenario.
In what was a convincingly dominant performance from Uruguay, they oversaw a 4-1 win and Pellistri contributed two assists, so he’ll certainly hope Erik ten Hag was keeping an eye out!

Pellistri’s second assist was a thing of beauty, though. He intercepted a pass to kickstart a counter-attack with his blistering pace, displaying exceptional dribbling and ball control.
To round off the exquisite run, he slotted in Rodrigo Zalazar to mark his second contribution of the night and make it 2-0 in Uruguay’s favour.
