Amad attracting interest from four Premier League clubs after Sunderland loan

Four Premier League clubs have registered an interest in Manchester United winger Amad Diallo after his loan spell with Sunderland.

Amad enjoyed an incredible season with Sunderland during the 2022/23 season.

The Black Cats finished just outside the play-off spots and the Ivorian winger was among the Championship’s stand-out performers.

Manchester United will be trying to plot the next step for the talented 20-year-old, who has only made nine senior appearances for the club to date.

According to 90min, Erik ten Hag will make the final decision on Amad after assessing him in pre-season this summer.

The report adds that four Premier League clubs are interested in signing Amad on loan next season. They include West Ham, Everton, Fulham and newly promoted Burnley.

Furthermore, Sunderland would like to have Amad back on loan next season, as they try to push for promotion under Tony Mowbray, who was very complimentary of the United youngster this season.

Amad scored 14 goals in 42 appearances for Sunderland and was named Young Player of the Year.

Perhaps a year at another Premier League club is what Amad needs, but Ten Hag could also decide to keep him around as an option from the bench – to fight for a place in the starting line-up.
