Erik ten Hag expecting clarity from Glazers on takeover this week

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly expecting some clarification on the future of the club this week as the Glazer family ponder over a potential takeover.

It is expected that United co-owner Avram Glazer is scheduled to be at the Reds’ FA Cup final clash at Wembley later today.

The Reds take on Man City in a bid to complete a cup double as well as stopping our rivals from winning a potential treble.

Nobody knows how long Avram Glazer intends to stay in the UK, but The Mirror understands Ten Hag has been told that he will be given a clearer picture of whether the Glazers intend to sell or remain in charge at Old Trafford over the coming days.

Sources close to the situation have told Stretty News that Ten Hag has become impatient with the takeover process. As manager of the first team, he wants to set out his plans for the summer, but it’s difficult with a restricted transfer budget.

When Harry Kane is your No.1 transfer target, it’s not going to be a successful window unless there’s significant money to spend.

Ten Hag deserves assurances going into his second season in charge. The fact he has been left in the dark throughout the takeover process tells you everything you need to know about the Glazer family.

The sooner they are gone the better.
