Antony has won Manchester United’s Goal of the Season after his scintillating strike against Barcelona.

The Brazilian fired home the winning goal in the heavyweight Europa League clash between the Red Devils and the Blaugrana.

At the Camp Nou, it ended all square in the play-off clash at 2-2, giving both sides all the work to do at Old Trafford if they wanted to progress.

United’s turnaround

Xavi’s team took an early lead through a Robert Lewandowski spot-kick in the 18th minute before an unlikely goalscorer levelled the tie just moments after the interval. Fred found the back of the net to keep United in the mix for European progression.

The Brazilian spark was clearly alive on the night in M16, as the winner came from Antony’s wand of a left foot after a deflected shot from Alejandro Garnacho, sending the Theatre of Dreams into hysterics.
