Prolific forward returns: Manchester United team news for crunch Chelsea clash at Old Trafford

Manchester United’s team news for tomorrow’s clash with Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag provided a squad update in his pre-match press conference this afternoon and it’s looking promising for the Red Devils.

Bar the long-term absentees Donny van de Beek, Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer, all players are currently available.

Marcus Rashford looks set to return to the fold after missing the past two matches through injury and illness respectively, whilst Scott McTominay has also recovered from his injury problem and is fit to feature in the final fixtures.

In his pre-match press conference this afternoon, Ten Hag said on his top goalscorer: “It looks like [he will be available], but yesterday he returns in training and he looks quite fit but we have to see today what the outcome is from the training – how did he recover and then we will make our choices.”

Reds can return to the Champions League

United can secure Champions League qualification tomorrow night with one point, though Ten Hag will certainly have his squad going all out for three.

Should the Reds win, the manager may opt to rotate the starting line-up for Sunday’s final Premier League match against Fulham, as the FA Cup final is looming on June 3rd.
