(Video) Manchester United star spotted in attendance of women’s Manchester derby this evening

Manchester United’s No.1 David de Gea was spotted at Leigh Sports Village to watch the Reds’ women’s team in action this evening.

United currently lead 1-0 at half-time in the Manchester derby thanks to a scintillating strike by Hayley Ladd that came within the opening two minutes of the clash.

Securing all three points is crucial for Marc Skinner’s side as they aim to keep pressure on Chelsea in the Women’s Super League title race, with the final matchday coming next weekend.

De Gea picked up another clean sheet yesterday to confirm his Golden Glove award with a 1-0 win over Bournemouth, and United are now just one point away from securing Champions League football for next season.

The Sky Sports cameras flicked over to show the Spaniard in attendance of the match and support of the Red Devils.
