Manchester United Women head to Wembley for the FA Cup final: Team news and how to watch

Manchester United Women take on their first-ever Vitality FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium this Sunday, May 14.

Kick-off is at 2.3opm BST and if you want to support the Reds, you can catch the game on BBC One in the UK, as well as online on the BBC iPlayer.

Erik ten Hag’s men are also in action this weekend when they return to home comforts to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford. Kick-off is at 3pm, so the game will not be broadcasted.

Team news for the final

Maria Thorisdottir is ruled out of the match after sustaining a season-ending foot injury in the competition’s quarter-final against Lewes.

Lisa Naalsund also picked up a knock in the same match, which marked her Red Devils debut, but returned to the matchday squad last weekend, so she may be fit to feature in the tie.

As for the Blues, Sam Kerr, who was just named the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year, is likely to be available despite a precautionary substitution against Everton in Chelsea’s last outing.

Millie Bright and Kadeisha Buchanan are long-term absentees.
