(Video) Sam Allardyce accuses Ten Hag of being contradictory in time-wasting complaints

Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce has blasted the likes of Erik ten Hag and Jurgen Klopp for time-wasting in-game, despite being vocal about other teams doing it.

‘Big Sam’ is back in the dugout in a bid to keep the Whites in the Premier League after another campaign of being in and out of the relegation zone.

They’re currently in 19th place in the table and take on Newcastle United next, so it’s not looking too promising for the Yorkshire side, with only three fixtures remaining.

Allardyce had no time for complaints on the matter of time-wasting and believed that those vocal about the issue were in fact guilty of it themselves.

In this week’s press conference, Allardyce quizzed the reporter on which managers had “complained” about the ball-in-play time, to which he responded (via Sky Sports): “Jurgen Klopp [and] Erik ten Hag”.

The 68-year-old replied: “He time wastes. He time wastes. They all time waste. Last five minutes when they’re winning 2-1, don’t be daft! That’s rubbish.”
