Manchester United’s Marc Skinner has been awarded April’s Barclays Manchester of the Month.
It was a brilliant month for the women’s team as they performed superbly to claim four consecutive wins in all competitions, so nobody can dismiss Skinner’s work to date. By winning Manager of The Month for April he is showing that things are looking good for his United side.
United knocked Brighton out of the FA Cup semi-final to book our first ever final against Chelsea – but Skinner will be quick to tell his players they’ve won nothing yet.
The same applies to the WSL title race, with United currently sitting on top of the table.
While I would like to congratulate Skinner on his latest accolade, it’s important to note that these individual awards mean nothing at the end of the season.
United will be looking to win a trophy after securing Champions League football for next season,
