Manchester United are monitoring at least two centre-backs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Erik ten Hag signed one centre-back last summer after a big money transfer saw Lisandro Martinez arrive from Ajax.

With Harry Maguire failing to impress the manager this season, as well as several others leaving, United could do with two new additions at centre-back.

According to Corriere dello Sport in Italy, United are set to offer £13 million more than Napoli star Kim Min-jae’s release clause.

After winning the Scudetto in Italy, Min-jae could look to move on to a bigger club, like United. His release clause is believed to be worth around £40 million.

Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News claims United are “in pole position” to sign AS Monaco star Axel Disasi.

The Reds would have to pay around £40m for Disasi’s signature.
