Man United’s 20-man travelling squad to face Brighton reported

Manchester United are preparing to take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Looking to continue their charge for Champions League qualification, the Red Devils, led by Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag, will know that tonight’s opponents will not roll over and easily give up the three points.

Not only is Thursday’s game set to be played on the south coast at the AMEX Stadium, but after narrowly beating the Seagulls on penalties during last month’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, Ten Hag believes Roberto De Zerbi’s men will want ‘revenge’.

“I think everyone involved in top sport, if you get beaten you want to have revenge and that is normal they have a huge motivation to beat us but we have to match that and do more, show more hunger than them to win this game and willingness is the word for tomorrow,” the United boss told reporters in the build-up to the match.

And set for a feisty encounter, that could see the Red Devils leapfrog Newcastle United and move into third place in the table, according to the Manchester Evening News, the team’s 20-man squad has been confirmed.

David De Gea, Jack Butland, Nathan Bishop; Aaron WanBissaka, Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Brandon Williams; Casemiro, Fred, Christian Eriksen, Marcel Sabitzer, Bruno Fernandes, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, WoutWeghorst all travelled to Brighton.

However, the following players will not feature and are unavailable: Tom Heaton, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Scott McTominay, Donny Van de Beek, and Alejandro Garnacho.

Tonight’s game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. (UK time) and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
