The match officials have been confirmed for Manchester United’s trip to St. James’ Park this Sunday, April 2.
It’s lining up to be a highly-anticipated clash in the top-four battle, with only the Red Devils currently occupying a place within the mix. The Magpies currently sit fifth but can leapfrog their opponents and move to third place with a win.
Refereeing the match will be Stuart Atwell for his fifth United match of the campaign and his fourth time overseeing a Newcastle league clash. Assisting him will be Darren Cann and Lee Betts.
In the VAR studio, and ready to intervene when possible, will be Andy Madley and Harry Lennard. The former more recently was on shift during United’s away clash with Liverpool, and it’s best to not mention the result of that one…
Kick-off is at 4.30pm and the fixture will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
