‘Striker’ – Manchester United fans react to Scott McTominay brace vs Spain

Manchester United fans have given Erik ten Hag the licence to play Scott McTominay up front after his brace against Spain tonight.

The Scotland midfielder made it four goals in two matches for his country, as they sit on top of their group for Euro 2024 qualification.

Having netted twice for the Tartan Army against Cyprus on Saturday afternoon, the United midfielder did again tonight against tougher opposition. Hampden Park went crazy after his second goal, which came from a volley after Kieran Tierney’s impressive run down the line.

McTominay hasn’t played a lot of football for United this season and has been linked with a move to Newcastle as aa result.

However, some United fans feel Ten Hag may want to recall McTominay to the starting line-up in Casemiro’s absence. After all, he is a player in-form.
