Manchester United had four players in action for their national teams today, here’s how they got on.

Harry Maguire

The club captain started and played 90 minutes in England’s final Euro 2024 qualifying game of this international break. The Three Lions saw out a 2-0 win against Ukraine, with Maguire picking up a clean sheet and some crucial minutes ahead of his return to Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot

Both Reds started for Portugal in their Euro qualifier against Luxembourg. Fernandes contributed one assist and a sensational pass in the build-up to the opening goal. He played 75 minutes, whilst Dalot played the full 90 and kept a clean sheet in their 6-0 victory.

Zidane Iqbal

The 19-year-old started for Iraq in a friendly with Russia earlier this afternoon.  Despite the 2-0 loss, Iqbal displayed an impressive piece of footwork to weave past his opponents and play a key pass to create an attack.
