Despite ongoing speculation over the past two days, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is yet to submit an improved offer for Manchester United, according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
It is expected that he will make a revised offer either tonight or over the weekend, but there is nothing yet. The Raine Group have also not set a new deadline after the initial one on Wednesday at 9pm, which was not met by either Sheikh Jassim or Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Solhekol confirmed this evening that whilst a new bid from Sheikh Jassim is anticipated, the Qataris have gone ‘very quiet since earlier this week’.
At 9pm still no new bid for Man United from Sheikh Jassim. Told he will bid tonight or this weekend but also told it's gone quiet and process will continue with or without him next week. Other proposals for Glazers to consider. Sheikh Jassim can bid when he wants. No deadline yet

Sale process will continue next week
The bidding process will continue next week regardless of whether or not they have submitted their proposal. On the other hand, Ratcliffe and INEOS sent their revised bid yesterday evening.
Solhekol has also warned supporters that the Glazer family staying as owners and selling a minority stake is still a realistic prospect.
