Sir Jim Ratcliffe was at Old Trafford this morning for talks over the potential takeover of Manchester United.
It doesn’t sound like the talks took place for a long period, or as long as it took with the Qatari consortium on Wednesday, as Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS delegation has been filmed leaving Old Trafford.

Ratcliffe was met by chief executive Richard Arnold upon his arrival and headed into the stadium for face-to-face meetings, but we won’t know the outcome of these talks for another while.
It was reported last night that talks with Sheikh Jassim’s delegation were positive, although he was not present for the meetings.
Sheikh Jassim is expected to make a new offer to buy Manchester United within the next 9 days.
