Sheikh Jassim will send Bank of America representatives to hold meetings with Manchester United

Manchester United’s sale process will progress to the next stage this week.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani will send representatives from his Nine Two Foundation and the Bank of America, who are advising his bid, to hold face-to-face meetings with Manchester United this week, according to Ben Jacobs.

As confirmed by numerous reports, the Qatar-based investor is the highest bidder and has tabled an offer in the region of £4.5 billion, around £1.5 billion short of the Glazers’ £6 billion valuation.

Sheikh Jassim won’t go overboard with bid

ESPN confirmed that Sheikh Jassim is unwilling to overpay for the club due to the heavy investment needed to renovate Old Trafford and Carrington, as well as build a squad strong enough to compete at the highest level in the Premier League and Champions League season after season.

This week, all interested parties will be asked by Raine Group to submit improved bids after attending the scheduled meetings.

  1. The Glazers must realise that the parties who had already put forward their proposal to buy over the club, are not stupid or unintelligent enough to unnecessarily throw their money at the Greedzers.
Both Sheik Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are serious people who have been sincere in their revealing their intentions to buy.
The Greedzers cannot think they can pull wool over their eyes and take them on a wild goose chase. If they are not being honest with their intentions, the prospective buyers will just leave.
