Manchester United target move for Eduardo Camavinga with Real Madrid eyeing new midfielder

Manchester United surprised a few people when they signed Casemiro from Real Madrid last summer. Thankfully, the Brazilian was seeking a new challenge in his career and wanted to join Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

A new report suggests Manchester United could try their hand at another Real Madrid midfielder in the summer, with French star Eduardo Camavinga becoming a target for the Premier League giants.

According to Spanish publication, Nacional, United are willing to pay a fee of £79.6m (€90 million) to sign Camavinga, who has been at Real Madrid for just two years.

Apparently United are willing to double or treble Camavinga’s wages and offer him a starring role in Ten Hag’s team to convince him to complete the move.

The 20-year-old has been benched this season — sitting behind Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti.

Camavinga has managed just 13 starts in La Liga this season and it doesn’t bode well for his future that Madrid are targeting Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer, as per The Sun.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should sign Camavinga for £79.6m in the summer. The former Rennes midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past.
