Southampton manager Ruben Selles is happy with his team’s performance at Old Trafford today but feels The Saints could have got a better result.
It was a match that had chances at either end. Manchester United did extremely well to stay in the game after Casemiro’s red card because it became a matter of 10-men vs 12.
Anthony Taylor gave Southampton a number of favourable decisions and denied United a shout for handball before the break.
However, Selles has every right to be happy with his team’s performance. They came to Old Trafford and attacked as well as they defended.
The Southampton boss told reporters that he wasn’t happy with the point, though.
“We are not happy with the point but we are happy with the performance,” Selles said, hoping his side avoid the drop this seaosn.
