Manchester United staff kept in dark over takeover process

With every day that passes we learn more about the Manchester United bidding process. At least two bids were officially submitted on Friday to buy Manchester United. These bidders have both publicly declared their interest.

It has been suggested that Manchester United could experience life under different ownership after bids were formally submitted by Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

According to the Manchester Evening News, figures at Manchester United are being kept in the dark by the Glazer family over the entire bidding process.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to any employee if they are sticking to their word about not knowing anything ahead of the disastrous European Super League ahead of its announcement in 2021. The Glazers have long pulled the wool over their eyes and will conduct this process privately with The Raine Group.

Manchester United fans continued singing anti-Glazer chants during the 3-0 win at Leicester City at Old Trafford on Sunday. They won’t stop until the American family sell and supporters were asked for their views on the bids over the weekend.

As fans, we can only stress that the fight against the Glazer family is far from over.

We now know Elliott Management could be interested in issuing a loan for a potential takeover, which could see Joel and Avram Glazer remain in charge should they take up an offer like that.

Never a dull moment with this football club, is there?
