Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves appeared to send Marcus Rashford a message with his goal celebration against Liverpool on Sunday.
Firstly, it was great to see the scores come in from the Wolves-Liverpool game on Saturday while we faced Crystal Palace. Not only did I enjoy United winning but to hear that Julen Lopetegui’s side inflicted further misery on Liverpool only made the smile on my face bigger.
Wolves beat Liverpool 3-0 but it was Ruben Neves who got the final goal for Wolves to see them jump out of the relegation zone. Neves stroked the ball past Alisson before racing away to celebrate.
Neves pointed at his temple — his trademark celebration — before pointing to his chest as if to let everybody know he was the one to trademark the goal celebration that has been made popular by Marcus Rashford this season.
Rashford did the celebration again on Saturday when he scored against Crystal Palace.

The video above shows Neves’ celebration from the stands and it looks like he claims the celebration is his.
Well, for yesterday alone, he can take it. Anyone is welcome to whenever they score against Liverpool and I’m sure Rashford would agree.
