(Video) Roy Keane claims player departures helped restore feel good factor at Manchester United

Roy Keane praises Erik ten Hag for the difference he has made at Manchester United in order to bring back the feel good factor.

The former Manchester United captain stressed that the club is better without players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba.

Speaking to Sky Sports after United booked their place in the Carabao Cup final, Keane stressed that the club are finally getting things right on the recruitment front as well as the fact they got rid of some bad eggs that were stinking out the dressing room.

“That feel good factor is back at the club,” Keane said.

However, not all of the players Keane mentioned were guilty of showing a lack of professionalism during their time at the job.

Juan Mata is prime example of a model professional and there was a part of me that was sorry to see him go in the summer, although there is no denying that his best years had long gone.

We can’t say the same about Paul Pogba.
