Marcus Rashford has been nominated for the Premier League’s ‘Player of the Month’ award for the month of January.

Finding the back of the net during United’s EFL Cup semi-final on Wednesday night away to Nottingham Forest, Rashford is undoubtedly the first name on Erik Ten Hag’s team sheet, and in light of his impressive form, the Englishman has now been nominated for one of the Premier League’s most prestigious individual awards.

During the month of January, United’s number 10 has scored three goals in the league, including the winning goal in the most recent Manchester derby against rivals and noisy neighbours City.

In order to be crowned the league’s best player of the month, Rashford must beat Brentford’s David Raya, Newcastle’s Dan Burn, Brighton’s Solly March, Forest’s Brennan Johnson, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and City’s Riyad Mahrez.
