Manchester United Women sign Lisa Naalsund

Manchester United Women have completed yet another signing in what has been a busy few days. Marc Skinner has been able to add Norway international Lisa Naalsund to his squad from SK Brann, with a contract signed until the summer of 2026.

Naalsund is Skinner’s third signing of the month and it comes at the right time as the club start their FA Cup campaign. Furthermore, United are in a good position to push for the WSL title but the ultimate aim at the start of the season was to qualify for the Champions League.

“Manchester United is a great football club and I’m very excited to be here,” Naalsund told club media. “The club is full of nice people and I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the amazing fans.

“It’s great to come to a club that has everything to play for this season — I love that. It’s going to be great!”

The 27-year-old joins a side that sit atop of the WSL, with a +2 goal difference advantage over defending champions Chelsea. Skinner will need to make the most of having additional quality in his squad and we would like to wish all new signings the very best.

Naalsund joins Jayne Riviere and Estelle Cascarino as United’s January acquisitions.

Hopefully, at the very least, they can secure qualification for the Champions League.
