Manchester United go into Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest trying to bounce back from Sunday’s 3-2 defeat against Arsenal.
It saw our unbeaten run come to an end and that is just something we are going to have to build again. The players must brush their disappointment aside if they are to set themselves up nicely for the second leg which takes place at Old Trafford a week later.
Here’s the starting XI we think Ten Hag could pick on Wednesday night.
Manchester United predicted line-up vs Nottingham Forest
Goalkeeper: David de Gea is expected to start this one. No risks necessary.
Defence: Aaron Wan-Bissaka needs to put Sunday’s performance behind him on Wednesday night, while this game could also be an opportunity for Tyrell Malacia to get another start. Raphael Varane will be partnered by Lisandro Martinez in defence.
