Manchester United Women return to Old Trafford in March

Manchester United Women will return to Old Trafford in March when they face West Ham in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The date has been set — Saturday, March 25, for United’s first women’s match of the year at Old Trafford.

Speaking to club media, manager Marc Skinner said: “Our entire group of players and staff are extremely excited to perform in front of our incredible fans at Old Trafford, for the second time this season.

“As the women’s game continues to grow, we are delighted that this great football club remains at the heart of it and offer another wonderful opportunity for the fans — both old and new — to experience a Manchester United Women’s game on the biggest stage.”

Skinner’s side usually play their games at the 12,000-capacity Leigh Sports Village, so it will be a great day out. Not only that but it will be their second game at the Theatre of Dreams this season.

As things stand, United are leading the WSL table, ahead of Chelsea on goal difference.
