Manchester United target 17 y/o Brazilian ace also on PSG’s radar

Manchester United are reportedly keeping track of Brazilian youngster Vitor Roque.

Along with interest from Manchester United, Gazzetta dello Sport claim Paris Saint-Germain are another European club in the mix for the Athletico Paranaense star’s signature.

Roque, who has a €60 million release clause inserted into his contract, could be got for cheaper. That depends on whether Athletico Paranaense are willing to accept a lower bid than what they’ve agreed for the youngster’s release clause.

None of this changes the fact United may need to act quick if they want to get the Brazilian starlet before PSG.

The 17-year-old can play on either wing – or as a centre-forward – so he already has versatility to his game. It may also be the case that nobody has decided on his best attacking role, which we’ve seen with a number of attackers in the academy down the years.

Roque has pace in abundance as well as an eye for goal. He has 13 goals and four assists in 52 senior appearances, which is a tidy record for a young player.
