Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reacted to his side’s Carabao Cup victory this evening.
The Red Devils saw out a 3-0 win in their quarter-final tie against Charlton Athletic to book their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Goals from Antony and Marcus Rashford secured their progression, with Rashford’s marking his 15th of the season so far and again highlighting the outstanding form he is in.
It also marked the Reds’ 20th win of the season, which is the amount they managed across the whole of the 2021/2022 campaign. Ten Hag reached it in 27 games and became the quickest United manager to do so.
Post-match, he set the standards clear when talking to Sky Sports about reaching the next stage of the cup, saying: “The last four is nothing. It’s only about winning.”
