Erik ten Hag becomes fastest Manchester United manager to reach 20 wins

Erik ten Hag has become the fastest Manchester United manager to reach 20 wins.

Tonight the Red Devils saw out a 3-0 win against Charlton Athletic to book their place in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

The result consequently etched Ten Hag’s name into the history books at Old Trafford as it marked his 20th win as manager of the club in just 27 games – the quickest in history.

In that time, the Reds have beaten the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Despite starting the Premier League campaign with two consecutive losses, they now sit joint-third with Newcastle United in the league table with a game in hand on the Magpies.

Ten Hag eyes silverware in first season

The side also remains in every competition and the lucrative prospect of lifting silverware for the first time since 2017 moves closer on the horizon with each match that passes.

The statistic should make any United fan optimistic about our manager because he looks set to bring success back to the club and make the team as feared as they once were. He has instilled a distinct playing style, philosophy and standard back into the squad, and he’s the reason M16 is bouncing with such pride right now.

  1. It is heartening to acknowledge Erik ten Hag’s achievement to record 20 wins in the first 27 matches he has managed.
Kudos to him of having achieved this milestone in such a record time with the players he has at his disposal.
Hopefully the club sale is completed soon enough with a very benevolent benefactor buying the club and fully support ten Hag to write a new chapter and revive a glorious future soonest possible.
