Man United star spotted back in training after missing Bournemouth win

Erik ten Hag was given full control of Manchester United’s transfer window over the summer and the Dutchman has enjoyed great success after hand-picking the arrivals.

Tyrell Malacia, his first signing, is adapting to a new league but has proven himself as an able option and is a regular under Ten Hag, although Luke Shaw remains the first-choice left-back.

Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro are all guaranteed names on Ten Hag’s teamsheet and the trio have exceeded all expectations. Martin Dubravka was signed as a backup to David de Gea but Newcastle have now recalled the goalkeeper.

Antony was the most expensive signing out of all six summer arrivals but after a sparkling start, which included three goals in as many Premier League games, he has endured a difficult patch.

He’s still one of Ten Hag’s most important players but the Brazil international missed the 3-0 win over Bournemouth earlier this week due to injury.

Thankfully, it does not look like Antony’s issue was major as he has now been spotted in a video published on the official Manchester United website.

United are preparing to take on Everton in the FA Cup on Friday evening and that could be an opportunity for Antony to kickstart his season again.

In the video posted by United, Antony is training with the rest of the first-team squad at Carrington as they await the visit of Frank Lampard’s Everton.
