Shaw and Casemiro impress again: player ratings from Man United 3-0 Bournemouth

Manchester United are cruising in the Premier League as they pick up another three points to secure their fourth consecutive win in the competition.

Erik ten Hag’s men are now five points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham and level on points with third-placed Newcastle, who have played one more game.

Bournemouth visited Old Trafford on Tuesday evening but the Vitality Stadium club were comfortably dismantled by United, who have now kept four straight clean sheets.

Casemiro gave the Reds the lead in the first half with a sublime volley before Luke Shaw added a second after the interval. With minutes remaining, Rashford ensured he maintained his 100% record after the World Cup.

Man United Player Ratings

David de Gea – 8
The scoreline is comfortable for United but it wasn’t for De Gea. The Spaniard had to pull out a number of impressive stops to ensure he kept a clean sheet.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7
It will be interesting to see how the right-back situation develops now that Diogo Dalot is back. Wan-Bissaka has certainly made it competitive.

Victor Lindelof – 7
Solid in most areas and especially impressive aerially.

Harry Maguire – 8
Back in the side tonight and can’t fault him for anything.

Luke Shaw – 10
You can’t really ask for a more complete performance from your full-back. Started the move for his goal and also finished it. His sublime pass to Bruno Fernandes was the catalyst for United’s third. Real transformation under Ten Hag.

Casemiro – 9
Casemiro continues to show on a weekly basis why he’s the best in his position and at this form, it’s difficult to make a case for any other player in world football.

Christian Eriksen – 8
Now up to second in the Premier League assists charts – wonderful piece of business by United.

Bruno Fernandes – 7
Frustrating at times but he continues to lead the way in all attacking areas and is at the heart of just about every move.

Donny van de Beek – 6
You have to feel for him – finally gets the opportunity he has been waiting for and he sustains what looks to be a serious injury.

Marcus Rashford – 8
Completely reborn and such an asset to United. Sign him up immediately.

Anthony Martial – 5
Possibly his most underwhelming performance of the season. Seemed to be in pain when he came off.
