Manchester United monitoring Gladbach forward out-of-contract next summer

Manchester United are monitoring the situation of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are keen on Thuram – who can talk to foreign clubs this month as he is in the final months of his contract.

The 25-year-old has netted 10 goals and contributed three assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season.

However, United are likely restricted to loan deals only in January. The club are currently up for sale and their American owners are unwilling to spend in what is likely to be their last transfer window in charge.

Striker search continues for United

Erik ten Hag has confirmed his desire to sign a suitable striker and the need for one is clear; he is relying almost solely on Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to provide the goals up front, with the latter not having the most promising injury record.

United sit fourth in the Premier League, two points behind Newcastle in third with a game in hand and four points off of rivals Manchester City.

  1. With money unavailable for transfers this January window , Manchester United should become creative and look for free transfers.
Marcus Thuram is available so John Murtough and Richard Arnokd should get cracking and get him SIGNED without delay.
