Celtic full-back could cost Manchester United at least £17m

Manchester United are being linked with a number of right-backs including Josip Juranovic after his impressive displays for Croatia at the World Cup.

According to Sportske Novosti, it will take a £17million bid to sign Celtic right-back Josip Juranovic, which is a good price nowadays.

It has been mooted that United closely watched the defender in Qatar, amid links to the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona, and it also looks like there could be some movement on the Aaron Wan-Bissaka front.

The question for Erik ten Hag is whether he needs to go out and sign a right-back who demands to be starting every week? Diogo Dalot has been one of United’s most improved players this season and I don’t think he needs to be replaced anytime soon. That said, the Portuguese full-back needs to prove himself again throughout the second half of the season.

Juranovic could be the latest player to come from the Scottish league and stun the Premier League. Only time will tell.

What do we do with Wan-Bissaka?

To his credit against Burnley on Wednesday night, Wan-Bissaka played well knowing suitors are circulating around his signature. No offers have been made but there is at least a chance he could join West Ham or Crystal Palace when the January transfer window opens.

It has been clear all season that he isn’t part of Ten Hag’s plans, so it is time to take a loss on the former Palace defender, who cost United over £50m.

That was a shocking bit of business from the club!
