(Video) Christian Eriksen finishes dazzling move to give Man United lead vs Burnley

Manchester United are up and running again this season after the campaign was paused to accommodate the mid-season World Cup in Qatar.

38 days have passed since Reds all over the world celebrated a United goal but now, that wait has come to an end as Christian Eriksen rifled home to give his side the lead against Burnley in the Carabao Cup.

Eriksen was one of five World Cup players to be named in the starting line-up and the Denmark international has now scored in back-to-back games, having also opened the scoring against Fulham on November 13.

Bruno Fernandes found Aaron Wan-Bissaka but the full-back had plenty of work to do before eventually getting the ball to Eriksen, who made no mistake with the goal gaping, as seen above.

United will now be hoping to add to their lead and book their place in the quarter-final.
