Fabrizio Romano names player Man United want to sell, three Premier League clubs interested

Erik ten Hag has a decision to make this winter and that’s whether the focus of the upcoming January transfer window is to add depth in the forward department or at right-back.

As things stand, Diogo Dalot is the undisputed first-choice player at right-back and the Portugal international will not be dislodged anytime soon if he continues to perform this well.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, however, has an increasingly uncertain future at Old Trafford after initially losing his place under Ralf Rangnick last year.

Since then, he has been an almost permanent fixture on the bench and under Ten Hag, he is yet to start a competitive game. In United’s last game before the season was paused to accommodate the World Cup, left-back Tyrell Malacia started in place of Dalot, who was serving a one-match suspension.

Now, with just days remaining before the transfer window opens, journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the situation surrounding Wan-Bissaka’s future.

According to Romano, as seen above, United are actively looking for solutions for the January transfer window and the Old Trafford club are reportedly keen to see him leave.

Furthermore, it’s stated that three Premier League clubs are interested in the player, with Wolves, West Ham and Crystal Palace all named.

Romano also adds that the main priority is to tie Dalot down to a new contract and that talks will take place soon. Earlier on Tuesday, it was confirmed that United had activated an option to extend his contract for an additional season, meaning he is tied to the club until June 2024.
