Conor McGregor deletes tweets after Paul McGrath brands UFC star a bully

Paul McGrath has branded UFC star Conor McGregor a “bully” for taking aim at Irish comedian Pj Gallagher’s mental health struggles.

Irish comedian Pj Gallagher, who is probably best known for his work on Naked Camera, recently spoke about his experience with mental illness, as per the Irish Independent.

Gallagher has featured regularly on Irish radio stations with his own shows in the past, but due to his ongoing struggles with depression, he has disappeared from the airwaves.

A lot of Irish listeners will hope to hear from him again soon… but maybe not Conor McGregor, who aimed a vile dig at the fellow Irish celebrity on Twitter.

After realising how stupid he came across, McGregor deleted a series of tweets.

Things tend to turn nasty whenever McGregor opens his mouth or reaches for his keyboard.

In a tweet to Gallagher, which has since been deleted, he wrote: “@pjgallagher you little sad pox of a thing. Sit up right and smile for a change will you, you sad **** hahahaha and you’re crying in the paper bout depression, posture like a prawn.”

However, Manchester United and Republic of Ireland legend Paul McGrath leapt to the defence of Gallagher on Sunday evening, by tweeting: “Pj take no notice of bullies, you’re loved by everyone. Whatever you do don’t let him get the better of ya pal, stay well. Top Man.”

In extremely ignorant fashion, McGregor continued his war of words on social media by calling McGrath an Englishman. The Irish legend had the last word, writing: “Conor you need to find GOD and when you do knock on my door I will have the kettle on for ya… my good friend.”

McGregor has always been a disgrace so we are not surprised by any of this.
