Manchester United have reportedly rejected an approach from Chelsea for young talent Alejandro Garnacho.
The 18-year-old has quickly made a name for himself in the United first team. He picked up two goals and two assists in four matches for the Reds before the international break and was consequently awarded the November Player of the Month award.
Garnacho’s last-minute winner at Craven Cottage on November 13 showed his ability to provide on big occasions, as the goal secured a crucial three points for the team.
An academy graduate, the teenager looks eager to succeed and earn himself a regular place in the starting lineup and Erik ten Hag is rewarding him with game time with the senior team to prove himself.
Chelsea interested in Garnacho
According to Blues reporter Simon Phillips, Chelsea had an approach for Garnacho turned down by the player’s representatives. They are aiming to agree a new deal with the Red Devils to keep the youngster at Old Trafford or take his talent abroad if negotiations fail.
