Portugal international Joao Felix looks set to leave Atletico Madrid in 2023, with Manchester United among the clubs interested in a deal.
That is according to Football Transfers, which has also named Newcastle United as a potential suitor for the forward, though Felix is unsure about moving to a team at the beginning of their rebuild.
Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea and, surprisingly, Aston Villa are also linked with a potential move for the star, whilst Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation abroad.
Felix’s time in Madrid has turned sour
The Atleti CEO previously confirmed that the club would listen to offers for the 23-year-old as the player’s relationship with manager Diego Simeone has broken down.
Atlético CEO Gil Marín: “João Felix has top level but because of his relationship with Simeone and game time… we feel that makes sense to consider potential bids to sell him”, tells TVE. 🚨⚪️🔴 #transfers

Felix was named Atletico’s Player of the Year in 2021/2022 after the Spaniards ended a reign of Barcelona and Real Madrid dominance to clinch the La Liga title. Since then though, their form has dipped and they currently sit fifth in the league, 13 points behind first, and are out of all European competitions.
He has scored 33 goals in 129 appearances since arriving at Atleti from Benfica in 2019.
